Marine & outdoor displays

Marine and outdoor equipment is read in direct sun, at angles and in changing temperatures. Readability depends on the whole optical stack, so evaluate brightness, reflections and sealing in the finished product.

Interface use cases

  • Helm and navigation instruments
  • Outdoor control panels
  • Exposed operator interfaces

Before you select a module

Sunlight and reflections
Evaluate brightness, optical bonding and anti-reflective treatments in real outdoor light.
Environment
Specify temperature, humidity, salt and UV exposure; confirm the enclosure protection in the assembled product.
Viewing position
Check viewing angle for the actual mounting position, including polarized sunglasses where relevant.
